As much as we learn from the past and confirm that people don't change much over time, we may also be astounded by the failure of so many promises and dreams that we once believed in or thought would lead the path.<br />Anyway, what a lovely day you had! Love your appreciation of all things, you have such a beautiful spirit!Glorita Jucáhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05275535704714040134noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5298227571179955698.post-55117868814009563452013-07-31T00:27:47.340-07:002013-07-31T00:27:47.340-07:00So fun to learn about Hammersmith and spend anothe...So fun to learn about Hammersmith and spend another day with you guys. Don't think I agree with Dave's interesting idea about those who are fascinated by the past. For me, anyway, it's more of a visceral thing. I feel it in my bones when I am in Paris. And I love to read about history because in many ways we learn that people don't change that much over time. Our evolution is, indeed, VERY slow. Things change, phones, cars, medicine, but emotionally we are still actors on a Shakesperan stage, don't you think? Miss you. Love, CarolAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
